Perhaps you’ve noticed a field in the Class record called ‘Message for operator’, or even one in the Contact record called ‘Message (alert for operator)’, but never knew what these fields were for?
Well here’s the answer; if you add a class and/or a contact that has this field filled out to the checkout, then this message will be displayed prominently within the onCourse checkout, allowing you to discreetly communicate that information to the onCourse user operating the system at the time.
This could be anything from important medical information about the contact that should be considered before taking enrolments, warning about past payment issues and to only accept payment upfront, or asking a user to remind the enrolee of things they need to bring to the class. Just make sure to keep the message concise as there’s only limited space to display it.
