Reviewing your system automations

One of the intended uses of the new Automation Status window is being able to review at a glance exactly what automation tasks have run within the last 24 hours, so you can easily tell if you’re running duplicate scripts (e.g. running both an old and new version of the same script), or if you’ve got a script enabled that either isn’t running properly, or isn’t even required any more.

We often get asked about why students sometimes are receiving mutiples of the same email and 99% of the time it’s because no-one has reviewed the active scripts in the system for a while.

I’d encourage everyone to utilise this new feature to keep an eye on how your system is running, and turn off any old or duplicate scripts that you don’t need any more.
